ARCA’s debut at Vinitaly 2025 marked a turning point for Sicilian viticulture. The opening event of the Sicily Pavilion, held on Sunday, April 6, welcomed a large and qualified audience: specialized press, sommeliers, international buyers, and wine communication professionals. The masterclass led by Andrea Amadei—journalist, sommelier, and voice of Decanter Radio2—guided attendees through six distinct interpretations of Catarratto by ARCA’s founding wineries. Different territories, unique approaches, one shared vision: to restore dignity, centrality, and recognizability to a long-undervalued grape variety. The audience responded enthusiastically, highlighting the freshness, stylistic consistency, and ageing potential of ARCA’s wines. The message launched from Verona was clear: Catarratto is no longer a grape to be rescued, but a mature, Mediterranean, and competitive white wine. The project caught the attention of national and international media, sparking new partnerships and collaborations for the global promotion of Authentic Catarratto.
